''Welcome to the website of the Research Committee on Comparative Public Policy of the International Political Science Association (RC 30).''

The Research Committee welcomes new members and inquiries, which can be sent to the Committee Chair listed on the 'Contact Us' page.

The Research Committee brings together like-minded scholars from around the world with an interest in comparative public policy. Besides working in areas such as comparative industrial, social and environmental policy, committee members also work on larger conceptual and methodological issues related to policy processes and dynamics, epistemological and philosophical issues related to policy-making and its study, and the history and development of the field of comparative public policy itself.

The Research Committee organizes panels at the Bi-Annual Conferences of the Association and encourages its members to submit proposals for these. RC members also sponsor and co-sponsor workshops and conferences on a wide variety of topics in between IPSA meetings including an 'off-year' RC workshop held in different locations every second year. Information on these events can be found on the "Events" and 'Announcements" listings on the RC30 Facebook page and RC members and others interested in these topics are warmly encouraged to attend and present the results of their research.

The RC publishes the interdisciplinary journal Policy & Society (Elsevier) and is a co-sponsor of the Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis (Routledge).
